School is back and life is once again conforming to that reality. There is a certain amount of substance and regularity to the fall for which I crave. I like the kids being on schedule once again. However, this fall is a little different for me. I am without employment once again. Uggghhh!!!
I was reflecting on this today and thought to myself, "How can I bless God in this???" And then it hit me! I get to be home with th kids to get them off to a good start at school. I get to be home when they get home. I get to spend more time with them. I thought that was pretty cool! It was like God was saying to me, "Mike, don't overlook what I have given you." If anything my time off this time has been marked with a lot of peace and assurance that God is in control and sees my situation. A friend shared a word of God with me this week and he said," Do not be afraid, do not worry, God has not forgotten you....He will take care of you." I am holding on to that and so much more these days. So if you read this and you feel like God is not there or He is not listening to you....Know that He is!!!!! Have faith and be of good courage for the Lord has not forgotten you!!!!
